OVERVIEW

Into The Flesh Pit is a tycoon/exploration game set in the cosmic horror worldbuilding series created by artist Trevor Roberts, Mystery Flesh Pit National Park. The game involves venturing down into the living depths of the Permian Basin Superorganism: a colossal antediluvian entity buried deep underground, and exploring it's bowels for precious resources and minerals. Bringing them back up to civilization for profit.

HISTORY

In the year 1975, a group of oil miners came across a geyser of blood coming from the earth. Upon further investigation, it was found to have originated from a gigantic creature living under the oil field, lying dormant for centuries. In the subsequent years, the site was excavated and heavily reinforced to allow for access into the creature. This, coupled with the rampant commercialization on behalf of Anodyne™, turned the pit into a popular tourist attraction on the same levels of Yellowstone and Yosemite. 

FEATURES

Into The Flesh Pit will allow for players to explore the grotesque insides of the Permian Basin Superorganism with a group of up to 5 people, with 8 unique "classes" that all possess different playstyles that mesh into the team's synergy. The vast anatomy of the superorganism spams for several miles, with plenty of hazards scattered along the way. The game will have you and your team exploring the various organs of the Permian Basin Superorganism and extracting the various rare metals present in the creature's body. However, the PBSO itself isn't the only danger you need to worry about. Other things lurk in its depths, and they don't take kindly to foreign visitors...
